With the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic just past, here's a great wearable vintage piece! It is a substantial smooth wool coat, in black. It has the pleated puffy sleeves at the shoulder, typical of the era that are slightly curved and finish to a faux cuff.
It has a notched collar , and flap covered pockets ( the pockets aren't very deep). The buttons are are glass with a basket-weave design on top. Lined in polished cotton. The back kick-pleats on eater side are cover with one flap in back. It is perfect , no stains holes or marks. It could be made up to 2" bigger all over by moving the buttons over. A rare find! No label, but extremely well made. It is so hard to believe this garment is 100 or so years old!
